UWE Maths Block

This project included the extensive demolition and refurbishment of 935sqm of space within a 70’s steel frame structure to form new teaching spaces, open access learning zones and staff offices.

This project required the demolition of all existing block-work walls to allow new construction and quality fit-out. The project required the working in a live environment, and extensive stakeholder engagement. The result was an exceptional finish and a versatile and functional home for Mathematics and Statistics at the UWE, which has received significant internal praise.

Lancer Scott were appointed on a design and build basis to work collaboratively with UWE and produce the design of the Mathematics Hub to stage 4.
