With a dedicated social value team and CSR strategy, we are constantly looking for new ways to support our community and reduce our impact. We encourage every member of the team from apprentices all the way to directors to bring their ideas to the table. Together, we craft a future built on respect, kindness and sustainable growth.

Sharing our skills, giving back to our community
We have long supported our communities through charitable works in the form of free knowledge and labour, as well as charitable donations and work with community organisations focused on helping the less fortunate. Projects have included the likes of East Street Mews in 2019, an affordable housing project for young homeless people. Together with an innovative team of local businesses, we drove the project to completion. We also supported the refurbishment of the East Looe Community Hub and the transformation of a local Scouts hut in Gloucestershire. These projects are now providing spaces to engage and inspire communities and the development of future generations.
We regularly work with Community of Purpose, a local charity supporting individuals and families in Bristol. Through this partnership, we have sponsored the Bristol Young Heroes Awards and the Break Free Programme, who provide support and activities for young people over the Easter holidays.
Respecting Our Duty
Operating Honestly, Considerately and Safely at all Times
The safety of our workforce is of paramount importance, and we go to great lengths to reduce the impact of our work on the local area. As part of this, we always look to register our sites with the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS). CCS assessors look at ways construction projects can benefit local communities, conducting regular ad-hoc and scheduled audits into the care that has been put into appearance, environment, social impact, health and safety, and respect for the workforce. Constantly striving to develop and improve the way we operate, Lancer Scott’s dedication to every element of the CSS ensures we build a future to be enjoyed by everyone.

Funding Local Sport in Bristol and Beyond
Sport can change lives, and we’re proud to be long term supporters of teams all over the South West. Over the years, we’ve sponsored a range of local clubs and academies including Bristol City Football Club, Bristol Flyers, Taunton Rugby, and Bristol Bears. We also buy kits for children’s teams, helping to encourage and inspire the next generation of players. Through our regular investment in professional and amateur sports teams, we help fuel active and engaged local communities and inspire the next generation.
