We are very proud to announce that we have recently become supporters of the fantastic charity Mates in Mind. Mates in Mind aim to provide support, guidance and awareness regarding mental health and wellbeing and how organisations can address this within the workplace with a main focus on the construction industry.

In 2017, Randstad reporting showed that 34% of construction workers surveyed have experienced a mental health condition in the last 12 months, and that 73% felt that their employers do not recognise the early signs of mental health problems. Pairing this with the fact that suicide rates among construction workers is more than 3 times higher than the national average, it couldn’t be more important to address and support mental health and wellbeing within the industry.

Lancer Scott will be providing support and guidance to any employee whilst also aiming to raise awareness and training throughout the company.
