Lancer Scott Sponsors Equip and Empower Project
Lancer Scott Sponsors Equip and Empower Project
At Lancer Scott, we are passionate about supporting initiatives that create meaningful opportunities and lasting impact within our communities. We are proud to announce our sponsorship of the Equip and Empower Project, a new charitable initiative founded by Holistic Tae Kwon-Do.
The project has been created to support children from disadvantaged backgrounds across Somerset, helping to remove the financial barriers that can prevent young people from accessing the benefits of martial arts. Whether it’s covering class fees or supplying a student’s first dobok, the project ensures that no child is left out due to financial hardship.
This initiative isn’t just about training, it’s about helping young people feel seen, supported, and strong. It’s about equal access, real opportunity, and building a more inclusive future through Tae Kwon-Do giving everyone the equal opportunity to experience the physical, mental, and social rewards that come with martial arts training.
More than just a sport, martial arts teaches life-long skills such as discipline, resilience, and self-confidence. By making these opportunities accessible, the Equip and Empower Project aims to help young people grow and thrive, both in their personal lives and within their wider communities.
Our sponsorship will directly support the launch and ongoing delivery of this fantastic initiative. As a company, we are committed to creating positive change beyond construction by investing in programs that encourage inclusion, well-being, and personal development.
Jane from Holistic Tae Kwon-Do had this to say, “We’re incredibly proud to be partnering with Lancer Scott to launch the Equip and Empower Project. Their support is helping us remove the financial barriers that so often prevent young people from accessing martial arts training — giving every child the opportunity to feel strong, supported, and part of something positive. This partnership is already making a real difference in our communities.”
— Jane Lambert-Majewicz, Holistic Tae Kwon-Do
We look forward to following the progress of this project as it grows and to seeing the positive outcomes it will create for young people across Somerset.
